Peacock wip 2

And then, the beginning for me really. The first application of the paint. Decided to put the lines all over. At first was not going to put any lines in the black area of the feather, but like this look better. Unfortunately, I do not have a very steady hand, so you can see wavery lines.

Peacock test

Next comes the test of the different polish colors to see how they look on the ground. I love this black paper I got from a press I used to work at. I was allowed to take about 4 boxes of this paper and have been inspired since. Anyway, this is what the test looks like. Not completely satisfied, since I wanted a yellow polish, and a flourescent green, but my choices were limited to budget. May find the colors I want later, as I am always picking up more polish.

Ah! Peacock

Starting on a peacock feather. Excited. Have been wanting to do a closeup of a peacock feather for so long. It began when they came out with the puff paint. Now finally, I can start. Only this time I am using Nail Polish! I love this stuff. So sparkly if needed. Here's the first one. A snippet of this drawing came courtesy of google images. On to a good finish!

Enchantress Hailey

Hailey is next in the series. Used the same color as Josie, but different pose. Painted Hailey and Josie while watching videos on youtube. Great service.

Enchantress Josie

Nother muse creeping night. Next in the series is Josie. Decided to name them on the pose. So at this writing I have 2 Josies.
